I stayed in this cute hotel for 1 day, had nice experience, liked its favourable location right by trains for free all over the canton and the centre of town and the lake and Locarno. The breakfast had a wide array of coffee, fresh bread, and eggs...

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Pensione Citta Vecchia in Locarno. the hotel is located in the charming old town and my room, once upgraded, was quiet and came with a bathroom. the breakfast spread was amazing, offering a great selection of food. the location of the hotel is fantastic, not too far from Lido Locarno Indoor Swimming Pool.

Convenient location near Grande Plaza. Comfortable twin bedded room with hot and cold water in the hand basin. Clean and bright room with double glazed windows overlooking a charming lane. Good breakfast available at a reasonable cost. Friendly staff, language barrier did not affect their helpfulness.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The value for money was excellent and the room was clean and comfortable. The location was great, just a short walk from the train station and the beautiful Lake Maggiore. The staff were friendly and always willing to help.

The central location made exploring the area a breeze, with everything just a couple of minutes away.

The lack of sound isolation in our room. We could hear noise from the stairs and street below, but thankfully the other guests were quiet.
